The people experiencing in the trenches were shocked, scared, home sick and sad. The reason they felt those ways were because some of them weren’t supposed to be there because they were drafted. The women at home felt more equal and sad. The reason for those feelings is because when the men went to war the women got their jobs. They also felt stressed because their loved ones were in war and they could be dead.
The women and men on the home front had an opportunity to make bullets, bombs, guns and they also were able to donate food. The women and men on the Homefront got jobs and made a lot of money. Due to this the prices of a lot of things went up because of inflation. Men on the Homefront that were thinking of inlisting there opinion changed quickly when they were hearing story’s from soldiers coming back. Some story’s included rushing the trenches, it was basically a suicide mission. Also a lot of soldiers were shell shocked and lost limbs.
