In my opinion we study history so we know how our country was made and the development of our country. and so we know the past of our government and the parliament. there are also wars we should know about because they affected the whole world and the made us who we are today. there are people and events that are significant to our family’s,country and groups of people that wouldn’t be the same today if those events or people didn’t happen as they did. Such as if there wasn’t chaos and danger in England then my great grandmother never would have left on the boat to Canada and i probably never would have been born. also history helps us understand people ans society. history is a example and base of how people have behaved in the past and can tell us how we may behave in the future. One career you could be involving history is a a heritage manager. A heritage manager is responsible for the conservation and management of heritage site like historical building, landscapes, ancient monuments and other properties. Some skill of a historian are continuity and change, cause and consequences, perspective and ethical judgement .
