Atomic bomb justified

I believe that the atomic bomb was justified. I now know the basic information giving to me about the atomic bomb. People have said that the bomb wasn’t needed to take about the Japanese but what else should the United States have done when the Japanese made it very clear that they were willing to fight to their last person. So yes, as of that moment , I believe the atomic bomb was justified. The Americans could’ve faught but that would only take longer and  it would cost more American lives to go in on foot and fight.
