Atomic bombs unjustified

The dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan in August, 1945 was unjustified. People say they think they would not have surrendered, but Japan would have surrendered if they were allowed to have their Emperor, their own style of government. They were ready to surrender. It was unnecessary to drop the bomb. The bomb didn’t have to be dropped on a populated place, but the bomb could have been dropped on a test area to show its power, with Japanese officials there to see it. About 110,000 people died and 110,000 were injured. So many people affected were civilians who were not directly part of the war.
Being involved in the Manhattan Project gave Canada more power, and made Canada a stronger ally of America. We also contributed because the only refinery for uranium was in Canada where uranium 235 was discovered and Canada knew how to use it. Canadians also hired a group of aboriginals to move some uranium, but without the proper warning or equipment about the uranium, and many aboriginal families became ill and died because of this. I believe this shouldn’t have gone unpunished.
