In my collage I put various things that define me. I put the Italian, Portuguese, and Canadian flags because I’m half Italian, Portuguese, and Canadian. I also added a soccer ball because I’m quite a big soccer fan and I included a Hockey puck because I like hockey and I’m a Detroit Red Wings fan. I added fish and pork chops because us Portuguese people are known for eating both. I added two soccer players jersey’s, one for Italy and one for Portugal because they are both players who represent the two national teams that I support. I drawled Buffon’s jersey because he is a great goalkeeper and captain for Italy and I added Ronaldo’s jersey because he is Portugal’s captain and he is one of the best players in the world.
Some things that I’ve added that depicts Canada is bacon because we love to eat it for breakfast and poutine because we enjoy it as a meal. There’s also the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens logo that I added because a lot of Canadians like both teams, even though there are five other Canadian hockey teams that Canadians from across the province love. I added a Tim Horton’s cup to show how much Canadians love their coffee and how we just can’t go through the day without one. I added a football to show how we love it just as much as the Americans because we like to watch the Ti-cats in the CFL. In bubble letters, I drew the word “Eh!” because it’s a stereotype here in Canada. The last thing that I added was an igloo because many people outside of Canada believe that we live in them and that we are Eskimos surviving in really cold and harsh environments which is not true.
