The item I have picked to talk about that is the most historical significant to me is my grandmothers ring. It’s this plain silver metaled ring , the look of this ring doesn’t look to special but to me it’s very special. This ring is very important to me because it was past down through generations from my great grandmother to my grandmother to my mother and now to me. I feel honored to have this piece of history and that my mother decided to give this ring to me. When i grow up i will be giving this ring to my future daughter to carry down this legacy and live on through my great grandmother. I feel like this ring is historical because my great grandmother lived life in the time where there was war and struggle and the fact that it has been on her finger makes me happy. Although I have never met her I feel close to her wearing the ring, I feel close to my grandmother this ring means a lot to me and when I pass it down to my future daughter i hope she will treasure it like I do. My great grandmother and grandmother have lived in a different time then I do so I find it interesting knowing that they had the ring doing all the stuff they’ve done in their life and still having the ring. I felt very proud receiving this ring and it will continue to go down from each generation.
