Canada 150

In my opinion Vimy Ridge is the most significant event in Canadian history. I think this because it only took Canada three days to conquer the threat on Vimy Ridge and France and Britain couldn’t do this. This was also around the time that Canada became its own country and separated from Britain. It was a costly victory but the win was amazing. Vimy Ridge will always have a special place in our hearts and it made Canada a bigger nation yet. Canadians visit the Vimy Ridge monument and feel incredibly proud to be Canadian. Vimy Ridge showed that Canada was a good country and not to be made fun of our dedication and perseverance. Vimy is one of the most talked about battles on Canadian history and we should be very proud of our country. This is why Vimy Ridge was the most important and significant event in Canadian history.
