- What makes me feel like a part of Canada is how we feel like a family even tho we’re not we still do there a lot of people that are not born here and we get a lot of imagrants into this country like my parents they were born in Haiti but my mom has Jamaican descendants in her she probably the best cook I’ve ever met her jerk chicken really kicks you and she make fried plantain that is the most saltiest thing you will ever taste and she also make a drink that made with Popeyea and its taste so good. And my dad when he on the grill they way he sessions that stake it looks like there in love and it’s the only stake I eat. When we came over Canada was so accepting of us even tho I slept threw it all it was a lot of comfort that was showed even tho I’m not a Canadian im still a Canadian by heart and it’s going to stay like that.
