I think different groups of people would view different events with different opinions. Like for example, there would be different opinions for conscription. Wives or families of a soldier would think it’s a good idea because they want as much help to make sure he got home safe. Where people without family in the war would think it is bad because more lives are being put at risk. Also men at war would think conscription is great because they’re getting more help in the war. In the end I think conscription definitely helped in the war so it was a good idea.
